TheEnemyWithin has transporters, which at the end of a turn will transport anything on a transporter pad to the corresponding pad in the mirror universe. However, these transporters will also malfunction in a particular and annoying way. If a player’s unit is being sent to the Mirror universe, and nothing is coming from the mirror universe back to the real universe on that same pad, then the player’s unit is cloned: RoboBot takes control of a (full health!) copy of the unit.

This means that, although the starting armies are similarly sized, Robo ends up with a larger army.

Note that the scoring does not work for this like it does for healthpacks; adding units to robo’s side reduces the points-per-HP because it increases his maximum health (not just his current health).
