Alien From L.A.(1988)

Wolff rating: GUT-WRENCHING

Plot summary: Ditzy girl falls into the center of the earth chasing her father, then gets (sort of) caught up in the local politics.

Biased, pithy comments: This proves that, no matter what, a good figure can't carry a movie. Kathy's annoying voice and incompetent acting (characterized by the 'bots as ``dull surprise'') makes this a ghastly movie. She is not supported by her bewildering post-modernly-dressed cast and the far-fetched plot kills off any semblance of watchability.

Other Notes: \MST. Great sketches in the show, including a song-tribute to Ms. Ireland.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Kathy Ireland, Thom Mathews
Directed by: Alber Pyun
