Plot summary: Unconnected valley residents suddenly become connected through strange circumstances and a little crime.
Biased, pithy comments: Solid ensemble-cast work with excellent music and some wonderful takes. One might quibble that it just didn't feel real (like other movies about regular people running into gangsters a la ``True Romance''), but in many ways that's not very important to the heart of this movie, which is a kinetic, complicated script. Oh, and a first-rate cast.
Other Notes: Contains the world's finest catfight caught on tape, with Hatcher and Theron going at it dressed entirely in spandex. Yow!
