All-American Murder(1992)

Wolff rating: NOT BAD

Plot summary: Strange, twisted tale of death, evility, and convolutedness concerning a coed's death by fire and a policeman who thinks the prime suspect is framed.

Biased, pithy comments: Walken is sufficiently weird and deadpan to carry the scenes he's in, but Schlatter's acting and Sandler's attempts at clever dialog make this weak. Its real strength is the complexity of its plot.

Other Notes: Written by Barry Sandler.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Charlie Schlatter, Christopher Walker, Josie Bissett, Richard Kind, Joanna Bissett
Directed by: Anson Williams
