Wolff rating: NIGHTMARE
Plot summary: Some lesbians fight evil in the form of weird-ass tentacles at a girls school.
Biased, pithy comments: Normally, I'm not concerned about sexual orientation of characters, but this film insists on showing us 5-10 minutes of girl-on-girl sex straight off. In some circles, that might recommend this film, but for me I could only imagine sweaty Japanese men drawing these mechanical sex pictures and animating them alone, away from women. The animation only goes down hill as the plot, which seems to exist exclusively to show us coeds being tortured by tentacled aliens, meanders towards its finish. Somewhere in there, there are elves, dwarves, and a chesty older sister, but frankly I was mostly hoping the film would be over by the halfway mark. Not funny, not sexy, pretty much misogynistic, and not nearly as much fun as it should be.
Other Notes: Followed by two or three sequels that apparently get more explicit and even less plotful.
