Wolff rating: FAIR
Plot summary: Some cops take on a drug dealer. Have we been here before?
Biased, pithy comments: There really isn't much to be said about the plot in this thriller, but it certainly seems that no one on the script-writing staff really was feeling very good. Lawrence is a small-screen actor (at best) and shouldn't be given the chance to ruin Will Smith's impeccable timing. Though the direction/cinematography is excellent, I found myself bored and a little squirmy with the convoluted nonsense about identities. A few laugh lines, but on the whole forgettable and not worth the trouble.
Other Notes: Yes, that bad guy really was in ``La Femme Nikkita''.
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Will Smith, Martin Lawrence
