Baxter(1986)

Wolff rating: GOOD

Plot summary: A view of life in small-town France from a dog's grim (but blackly humorous) perspective.

Biased, pithy comments: It's dark, it's evil, and it's very, very strange. Strong statements about facism in the large and obedience in the small, and contains some lines that are funny but scary at the same time.

Other Notes: French w/subtitles. ``Never obey.''

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Baxter the dog (voice by Maxime Leroux)
Directed by: Jerome Bovin
