Plot summary: Belle's father is captured by a transformed prince, and she goes off to find him.
Biased, pithy comments: Disney has done a great job of reinventing the children's animated fairytale by making a tightly-paced yet amusing film. The voices are supreme, Howard Asheman's score is toe-tapping, and the characters are lovable. The only problem with this one is that the Beast looks better as a Beast than as a prince.
