Wolff rating: MOSTLY HARMLESS
Plot summary: The 1988 US Olympic karate team fights for the gold and among their teammates.
Biased, pithy comments: Karate kung foolishness---all the humanity of a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie and none of the charm. Makes ``Bloodsport'' look good. Fight scenes look well-made and seem real, but the acting *blows chunks*. Jones is wasted and looks confused most of the time, and what he does as coach is not clear.
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: James Earl Jones, Eric Roberts, Sally Kirkland
Directed by: Robert Radler
