Plot summary: Foley's boss is shot in Detroit, and the killer's trail leads to an amusement park in (where else?) L.A.
Biased, pithy comments: Pretty mechanical, but if you've seen the other two and enjoyed them, this is a simple summer movie. Some good new stuff, but script problems, fuzzy plot, and pointless action really kill it at some inner level that doesn't let Murphy shine as well as in the other two films by this name. Some silliness if you're feeling happy. Randle's character is painfully badly written; don't expect much from her.
Other Notes: Soundtrack is kind of dull and not by Faltermeyer. Apparently the younger set like this one better than I did.
