Wolff rating: MOSTLY HARMLESS
Plot summary: Strangely effeminate private school graduate gets on the wrong ship and ends up stuck in fantasy world, learning to be a man and love the sea.
Biased, pithy comments: Weird movie, and too much of Chris Elliott. The seamen are interchangeable and though the plot never leaves you bored, it doesn't serve to go anywhere, really. A little of Elliott goes a long way.
Other Notes: Cameo of David Letterman is his acting debut on the big screen.
