Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: The doll is back, and this time he's got a girlfriend.
Biased, pithy comments: It's a funny thing when you say that the dolls owned this movie, but it's true. Tilly and Dourif's voices combined with some clever animatronics make for a fun ride. Heigl and Stabile are more empty as generic roles, but it's all right, since these movies have always been about Chucky. Director Yu really sells the rest of the film, and although it's more than a little goofy sometimes, the chuckling self-references make it solidly amusing. For horror fans mostly, although I think even the uninitiated can get the point.
Other Notes: DVD contains intentionally funny diary from Tilly; unintentionally hilarious is the summaries of the unlikely, hackneyed events of the first three films.
