Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Young boy sees a suicide, but he fears reprisals if he reveals this information, as the mob has an interest in his silence.
Biased, pithy comments: Starts off as a tight, tense battle of wits and brains, but then collapses into the usual Grisham slow fizzle. Sarandon and Jones are solid as is the kid, but the story has some strange holes in it, and though there are a few shots fired, after '94's exploding summer, quite a bit is left to be desired.
