Wolff rating: TONGUE-WRENCHING
Plot summary: Stupid cable TV reporters fly down to South America to get an interview with a drug lord, but instead witness the slaughter of harmless drug flunkies by the bloodthirsty natives.
Biased, pithy comments: What this movie lacked in plot, writing, dialogue, music, direction, costumes, and continuity was not entirely made up for by the racist overtones of the script. It's been years since I've seen something so blatantly misportraying a group of people---it's on a par with ``Hitler Youth Quex.'' Characters die meaningless deaths only to be replaced by other meaningless characters, with a 5-second finishing fight scene with automatic weaponry, a fire extinguisher, and a hairless thug with a nasty machete. Wow. This sucks.
Other Notes: Apparently, you shouldn't be watching the uncut version of this; it's like watching ``Basic Instinct'' for the plot. No, instead you need the raping, gore, and pillaging. Blink and you'll miss Eriq LaSalle as a pimp.
