Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Bomber who is crazy like a fox tries to play mind games with New York cop.
Biased, pithy comments: Though the movie was rife with explosions, death, destruction, and a few plot twists, I was neither as thrilled as I was in ``Speed'' or impressed as I was with the original ``Die Hard'' or its sequel. Something about the bad guy (Jeremy Irons) being not-too-scary; he was hard to take seriously. Plus there are some technical discontinuities that left my suspension of disbelief occasionally bruised. Fun, has some good writing, but not something to Die Hard about.
Other Notes: If you pull the fuses, won't the power steering go out? (UPDATE---I've been told that I'm completely wrong on this one; you *would* be able to continue to steer even if you pulled the fuses out.)
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Jeremy Irons, Anthony Peck
Directed by: John McTiernan
