Plot summary: Military covers up death of a recruit, but Cruise investigates it.
Biased, pithy comments: Gripping drama, with Nicholson playing the tyrant part well. Its major flaws consist of some strange plot points (``Would the army really do that?'') and Moore's walking like a model, not a career military lawyer.
Other Notes: Big round of applause for John Carter (Noah Wyle) as a friendly marine witness.
