Wolff Movie Index

First Wives Club, The(1996)

Wolff rating: GOOD

Plot summary: Three women cast aside by their husbands decide to get even.

Biased, pithy comments: A sort of ditzy, random plot held together by the excellent acting of Hawn, Midler, and especially Keaton (whose mousy-haired doormat is really the center of the show). The men are scum, the women mostly faultless, and as a result it isn't exactly a date film, but it is an amusing watch.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Goldie Hawn, Bette Midler, Diane Keaton, Dan Hedaya, Stockard Channing, Maggie Smith, Sarah Jessica Parker.
Directed by: Hugh Wilson
