Wolff rating: EXCELLENT
Plot summary: Absorbing tale of a slightly-retarded man who wanders through all of the interesting events in the last few decades.
Biased, pithy comments: For a cultural icon, Mr.~Gump is a little undefined, but the combination of understated humor and epic directing make this a nearly-must-see. Soundtrack is good and a wide mix of historical music. Wright still can't break out of the stupid girlfriend roles, but Hanks becomes the part. A little sentimental and by the end your suspension of disbelief is almost entirely used up, but still makes for a ``I laughed, I cried, it was a part of me,'' sort of movie.
Other Notes: Special effects are worth noting. Sountrack excellent.
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Tom Hanks, Robyn Wright, Sally Fields
