Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: A young batchelor keeps going to weddings and meeting the woman he truly loves, but she keeps being engaged or otherwise out-of-reach.
Biased, pithy comments: A romance/comedy that manages to keep up its energy and pace. The lead is sufficiently attractive to warrant the mess he's in, but MacDowell can't seem to muster enough attractiveness to make the audience really understand what all this fuss is about. It moves from being silly to touching and back to silly again all without being too extremely cheesy; not a must-see, but definitely better than many.
Other Notes: This is the movie that made me start calling MacDowell ``the wet rat''.
