Wolff rating: EVIL
Plot summary: So now these teenagers are being chopped up on a ship and in some back streets of New York.
Biased, pithy comments: The exciting subtitle isn't really held up by the execution (if you pardon the expression), and I have to say, I was disappointed. Jason didn't take in any of the downtown, ride the elevator to the top of the World Trade Center, or even just buy a hotdog from a streetside vendor. Instead, in one 11 hour night, Jason manages to kill most of the Crystal Lake seniors, take out a teacher or two, and generally make a fool of himself. It's not clear that Jason is even human in this one, and hence the undefined abilities that he possesses and his non-existent motivation to slaughter all these random people seem, well, implausible. Not a must-see even for horror fans, but a higher production value than other 13th's I've seen, so it could be worth seeing with a caustic audience and a good supply of popcorn to throw at the TV when they run down that same damn alley {\it again!}
Other Notes: Soundtrack just based on Manfredini's cool sound effects.
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: who can remember?
