Plot summary: Story of the Civil War battle of the same name.
Biased, pithy comments: This is as historically accurate as movies get, and it is quite powerful. The characters are universally well-played, and there is only a little over-speechifying, but it's forgiven due to the magnitude of the show. If there weren't speeches, we wouldn't feel edified. Amazing movie, and completely absorbing.
Other Notes: This is probably UNSURPASSED as a war film.
