Plot summary: Ghosts appear in New York, and a strange group of paranormal ``scientists'' are called in to stop the end of the world.
Biased, pithy comments: Reitman can't hold himself back with this great script by Ramis and Akroyd. It's hilarious, with Murray mugging his way from beginning to end. Weaver is almost too elegant for her part, but overall the improbable and implausible comedy pulls it off by pulling you every which way but loose.
