Wolff rating: EXCELLENT
Plot summary: Radio announcer fights Army thinking and the hell of 'Nam while trying to fall in love, being incredibly humorous on the way.
Biased, pithy comments: Based on a true story, Williams is given free rein to turn the war on its head and is hilarious. The movie gets heavier and heavier as it goes along, leaving the viewer depressed and happy at the same time.
Other Notes: Soundtrack is excellent mix of Williams and 60's hits.
