Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Hit man, obsessed with his high school girlfriend, decides to go back to his high school reunion.
Biased, pithy comments: This is a concept movie, and to be more than a one-joke film, it has to rise beyond its roots. And this movie almost does. From the hero's weird relationship to his shrink to his probably nuts but very competent secretary, learning about this hit man's world is interesting. However, you can feel when the story suddenly hits its stride as the reunion starts and the shooting begins. This was where the movie was meant to be, and it's too bad it couldn't stay there the whole time. So, nearly on the mark and daftly amusing in a talky, unrehearsed way, but probably not a must-see.
How many times I have seen it: x1
