Wolff rating: EXCELLENT
Plot summary: Misfits discover how misfit they really are while trying to find, simply, happiness.
Biased, pithy comments: Excellent work by the cast in a deeply sad, funny movie. For such an unpleasant topic, though, it's surprisingly watchable as these unfortunately human characters crash into each other, rarely learning anything at all about one another. It's a daring film to even remotely consider the predatory father as someone more pathetic than evil, driven by his own weakness to...not sin, exactly, but more like damage. Still, there's a lot of masturbation, so if you're not into seeing how that fits into other people's lives, you might not make it through this.
Other Notes: Not rated. What in heck would the bloated, useless MPAA make of this?
