Plot summary: A sentient VW bug heads to France to, uh, race.
Biased, pithy comments: It's the ``Speed Racer'' plot! Criminal masterminds commit a brilliant crime and then use a giant race with wildly mismatched vehicles (and engine displacements) as their exit strategy. This is the third Herbie movie (the first being ``The Love Bug'') and once again Dean ``I work for Disney'' Jones and Don Knotts get behind the wheel and roll around. The formula is beginning to show, but darn it, these films are old-fashioned, ditzy fun.
