Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: Story of record-store owner going through a personal crisis with his live-in girlfriend.
Biased, pithy comments: Both an interesting comment on the lifestyle of the music-obsessed and an amusing story of angst, Chicago-style, this is definitely good. It starts out a little uneven in tone, but as it hits its groove you find yourself caring about these hopeless characters. Has some surprises and unexpected laughs as it meanders around; the scenes where the clerks in Rob's store let loose on one another as only total fans can are precious.
Other Notes: Watch for the groovy opening sequence that they clearly had to cut from the front of the film and move to the end.
How many times I have seen it: x1
