Plot summary: Spoof of ``Top Gun'' and other big metal flying things movies.
Biased, pithy comments: This is another spoof film coming from Jim Abrahams, who worked with the Zucker brothers to make other slapstick, slapshot movies like ``Naked Gun'' and ``Airplane.'' Sadly, this is really Charlie Sheen's showcase. In its unending quest for jokes, the film resorts to everything it can and is usually successful---there are still lines from this movie that I quote today to my wife (to her dismay). What your favorite Abrahams/Zucker film is is usually a matter of taste and the mood you were in when you saw it; some like ``Naked Gun,'' some ``Airplane,'' but this is my favorite.
Other Notes: Credits are a scream; stay for them.
