Wolff rating: NIGHTMARE
Plot summary: Hotheaded young boy is ``treated'' by a mad scientist for his primitive urges.
Biased, pithy comments: The concept of a werewolf in Western culture is to embody the hidden, ugly side of humanity, like a drinking problem. This movie mostly misses that boat, and instead spends time in aimless teen dancing scenes (with some of the oldest teenagers you've ever seen---sort of a ``I was a middle-aged teenage werewolf'' thing going) and some overblown mad scientist rantings. Oh, and a lot of running around through the shrubbery. For a classic monster flick, however, there just isn't a high enough body count to make this any fun. Skip, unless seen with Mike and the 'bots.
