Plot summary: In the 70s, a family is on the rocks amidst the ends of the sexual revolution.
Biased, pithy comments: This is clearly one of those films that puts shivers down your back---every part of it reverberates with every other part, from the seemingly disconnected, adolescent stumblings at the beginning to the finale in the ice. See this, but be warned that it's both heavy and isn't ``action-packed''---this is a very thoughtful film.
Other Notes: Yup, this is the same director as ``Sense and Sensibility'' and ``Eat Drink Man Woman.'' Amazing.
