Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade(1989)

Wolff rating: EXCELLENT

Plot summary: Jones's father is kidnapped, so he goes after him, but gets caught up in another archaeological intrigue with Nazis, evil rich people, and the Holy Grail.

Biased, pithy comments: Spielberg figured out what was so cool about ``Raiders'' and he's back with another pulse-pounding Indiana Jones movie. Ford keeps up the pace and the action, and the Nazis are oh-so-nasty. Sometimes there are some things that strike one odd, cute, or contrived upon seeing it again, but it's still a classic.

Other Notes: Good reference to ``Triumph of the Will'' when the Joneses go to Berlin. Soundtrack by Williams is awesome.

How many times I have seen it: ~6

Starring: Harrison Ford, Sean Connery, Alison Doody, Denholm Elliott, John Rhys-Davies, and Julian Glover.
Directed by: Steven Spielberg
