Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Young woman witnesses murders at her rich friend's house and gets caught up in the aftermath.
Biased, pithy comments: This was better than I thought it was going to be; most 4-hour miniseries tend to drag pretty hard. This show, however, keeps up the tension the whole time, and outside of the really cheesy last few minutes is chillingly believeable most of the way. McGinley (available as random militaristic guy in a zillion other movies) is convincing (though familiar) as the coldly raving murderer, and Parker manages to look worried most of the time. Tori Paul is pretty good, and for ``Twin Peaks'' fans you can see Piper Laurie drift through in a blue Chevy. I hear it was a pretty darn good book, too, and given than Koontz was the executive producer, they didn't mangle the translation too badly.
Other Notes: Based on Dean Koontz's novel of the same name. TV movie.
