Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: A cop and a waitress split a four million dollar lottery ticket.
Biased, pithy comments: This is an engaging fairy tale set in the far-off land of New York where just about everyone is nice to one another with the possible exception of Perez. Cage is gentle (almost too much so), Fonda is pleasant, and Perez is her really annoying caricature that she often plays. There are some heavy realism jumps you have to make to really groove with this film, but I had a good time---a better time than I thought I'd have.
