Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: This is a comedy about a priest and a rabbi meeting a beautiful friend from high school.
Biased, pithy comments: Proving once again that Jenna Elfman can be sweet and lanky and nutty in nearly any role, this film is a light, disposable comedy made by people who clearly know their religions and find a little bit of which to make light. I laughed at the physical comedy pratfalls, but I also connected to these poor characters staggering through uncharted ecumenical emotional territory. Pleasant, fun, but not deep; it's a good watch.
Other Notes: I worry that Ben Stiller is going to be the next Woody Allen, in that he's a short, only somewhat attractive nebbish who plays roles where he rakes in the beautiful chicks.
