Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: As the Australian government collapses, the remains of the police force stay out on the road to protect the innocent.
Biased, pithy comments: This is actually a much darker movie than just a revenge-motivated killing spree with lots of fast cars and crazy bikers. It addresses, quietly, how close humanity is to going mad and leaving behind civilization. At the same time, it has amateurish sound editing and a choppy directing style that makes one a little confused rather than thrilled. A good watch, though, even if you ignore the grimness of the theme.
Other Notes: First in a series of ``Road Warrior'' movies that get larger and larger budgets, though less and less feeling.
