Plot summary: Scott ``Quantum Leap'' Bakula has to rescue a failing team.
Biased, pithy comments: Mr. Buzz rocked. No, really; I laughed out loud every time the yellow mascot did bascially anything. Likewise, most scenes with either Haysbert or Ishibashi (two guys from the original two movies) were worth a giggle. I even liked Daggett, and, really, Bakula is such a trooper to even shoulder such a tired role. Unfortunately, the movie isn't much but a collection of sight-gags and low-key silliness delivered without much gusto. Skip, but not without a little nostalgia for the original two movies.
Other Notes: Visual effects of baseball hits (clearly digitally generated, but it took me a while to catch on) from behind the plate are really neat.
