Plot summary: Losers and washouts have a chance to turn the Cleveland Indians around to save the season against a tyrannical owner who wants them all to lose.
Biased, pithy comments: All-around fun, this movie's stupid moments are just as much fun as the attempts at being a more thoughtful film. It moves from one end to the other without too much time to lose, and is infinitely quotable. A great baseball film.
