Wolff Movie Index

Malice(1993)

Wolff rating: EXCELLENT

Plot summary: Intertwined story of a professor and his young wife who have marital problems caused by an old college friend; it is complicated by a rapist/murder in the town terrorizing the campus and the wife's damaged reproductive organs.

Biased, pithy comments: It's very hard to sum up, but the movie is incredibly complex. Kidman isn't too annoying and Baldwin is great. Great script, production could use some lighting. Baldwin delivers one of the finest monologues in modern cinema, in my humble opinion.

Other Notes: It is ironic to note that Kidman is unable to have children in real life.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Alec Baldwin, Nichole Kidman, Bebe Neuwirth
