Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: An NYPD officer meets an alien and then gets sucked into an invisible conspiracy of human officials who deal with the aliens who live in Manhattan.
Biased, pithy comments: This is `Ghostbusters' for the 90s, which is to say it's very, very funny and totally daft. I liked GB better, but probably because I was younger at the time. I couldn't get very involved in the plot, but the one-liners that Jones and Smith snap off are priceless. Avoid seeing the previews, which give away many of the best jokes. Tight editing and good supporting actors (when they're on screen) make for a satisfying, if in the long run forgettable, whole.
Other Notes: ``Looks like I'll have to buy the White Album again.''
How many times I have seen it: x2
Starring: Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Linda Fiorentino.
