Plot summary: Ethan Hunt is back with a new mission to infiltrate a biotech company that might well be up to evil.
Biased, pithy comments: I had trouble writing the plot summary because, well, the plot is so secondary to the action in the film that, at times, they seem to have just forgotten about it entirely. It's classic John Woo, complete with doves flying through smoke, burning saints, Mexican standoffs, and crazy over-the-top action. Despite the flimsy structure, though, it delivers on being fun and exciting, and most importantly thrilling; given that John Woo directed, I couldn't be sure about whether the ending would be happy or tragic. And I won't give it away to you.
Other Notes: Indeed, careful examination of nearly anything in the movie (from continuity to science) will make you shake your head; don't pay it any mind and enjoy.
