Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Drebin is called out of retirement for one last bust with Police Squad with the usual throw-aways and sillinesses.
Biased, pithy comments: This is virtually the same movie as the first two, but that doesn't mean that it isn't lots of fun. It's filled with groaners, nonsense, and meta-jokes, but it isn't quite as layered (jokes in the foreground, jokes in the background, and silly things on the signs) as ``Airplane'' and not quite as cool as ``Hot Shots.'' Great fun, though.
Other Notes: Original subtitle was ``Off the Record'' but was changed to ``The Final Insult.''
