Nowhere to Run(1993)

Wolff rating: NOT BAD

Plot summary: Classic western tale of beautiful widower being forced off her lands by an evil developer, and only an escaped convict can save her.

Biased, pithy comments: Critics have been pretty disappointed in this Esterhaus-written show, but I actually found myself enjoying it for what it is---a big dumb western set in the modern world. Van Damme looks good, Rebecca Arquette is thin but attractive, and the bad guys evil enough that they seemed to be on the low moral ground. Still, weak acting and silly, silly plot can turn off the faint-hearted.

How many times I have seen it: x1

Starring: Jean Claude Van Damme, Rebecca Arquette
