Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: Louisiana white trash who isn't anything but trouble drops in on her gay half-brother's house and starts making eyes at his boyfriend.
Biased, pithy comments: I cackled my way all the way through this film. Through the bitter irony and truly repulsive characters (well, most of them), this movie managed to score some points about the human fascination with sex. Ricci is quite at home as the venomous bitch from hell, Donovan is fine but understated, Kudrow is not completely convincing as a teacher (but I suspect because I kept expecting her to act like Phoebe from ``Friends'') but still lots of fun, and Lovett is...well, playing himself but I suppose that's OK. Although the crackling dialog, clever filmmaking, and character-rich voice-overs are too good for the sort of rambling plot, this film delivers in both entertainment and some tiny food for thought.
Other Notes: ``Didn't think I could die, did you?''
