Wolff rating: GOOD
Plot summary: Lawyer recovers from amnesia-producing head wound to discover a life he's not sure he likes.
Biased, pithy comments: Though other reviewers don't think too much of this effort, I found it a sweet, simple movie with excellent acting and a thoughtful, if somewhat obvious, message. Ford is excellent both before and after the wound, and Benning is attractive and doesn't seem like the glamourous movie star type she seems to usually portray. Warming, funny, with just a little bit of an edge.
Other Notes: SPOILER---one could read the moral of this story as, ``The only way to make a lawyer a nice guy is to shoot him in the head.''
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Harrison Ford, Annette Benning
