Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Pilot and magazine editor end up crashlanded on a remote desert island.
Biased, pithy comments: This could have been Bob Hope and Dorthy Lamour without anyone batting an eye; Reitman has made an old-fashioned comedy-romance where the characters, who start out hating one another, keep falling all over one another and fishing things out of one another's pants. It was funny, and Ford, Schwimmer, Heche, and the beautiful Obradors have enough starpower to make this limp script perform. However, ``predictable'' doesn't begin to describe it; this seemed like the story out of one of those romance books with Fabio on the cover. I had a good time, but mostly because I was curled up with my wife and had time to make out between jokes.
Other Notes: Heche's outfits are nothing but ugly; besides her Macauley Culkin haircut, she's fighting the wardrobe to look good.
How many times I have seen it: x1
