Wolff rating: MOSTLY HARMLESS
Plot summary: Former CIA explosives assassin assists a beautiful heiress with a problem with some drug dealers.
Biased, pithy comments: In a different world (one without Stallone) this highly stupid movie might have been a moody start to a series of movies. As it is, it is written and directed with the subtlety of a ``Walker, Texas Ranger'' episode, only not quite so realistic. By the time things are really going kaboom, we really don't care and our suspension of disbelief is so severely sprained we're planning a trip to the orthopedist tomorrow. Even Sharon Stone taking her clothes off can't make this good.
Other Notes: Based on a series of books that must be simply gun-porn, if this movie is to believed. Note that cat, though diving into the bomb hatch, doesn't reappear in the tunnel, so we can only assume the cat was destroyed when the house collapsed.
