Wolff rating: NIGHTMARE
Plot summary: These fighers transfer to an airbase, see. And then they fly around, see. Yeah.
Biased, pithy comments: There's no plot. None. Two multi-minute mid-air refueling scenes are the centerpiece, with lots of late-sixties jazz and a little anti-Communist dogma just in case. Also, painful characterizations of people from Iowa, and oh, that acting. It looks like this was an old Air Force propaganda film, but it's not clear what audience could sit through two hours of just flying around over the desert.
Other Notes: \MST. ``That's Cristo's latest installa---oh, that's OK.''
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: No one. No one who can act. However, Bob Dornan, future gosh-wow-that's-so-right-wing-it-hurts Congressman stars. I'm not saying he can act, though.
