Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Exploitation film about a girl gang in the 70s up against a rival gang and one another.
Biased, pithy comments: It's an exploitation film. It's cheap, the acting is either scenery-chewing or underplayed (there's nothing in between), the sets look like they were thrown together in about an hour, and there's a fair amount of sex and violence. Once you get over that, though, it's a pretty good film as these things go, following Shakespeare's ``Othello'' pretty closely. For people who found ``Shaft'' laughably bad, you're not going to get a lot out of this, but I found it brisk and engaging.
Other Notes: Re-released with a sort of slupring, panting discussion before and after by Tarrantino under his ``Rolling Thunder'' series.
How many times I have seen it: x1
