Wolff rating: NOT BAD
Plot summary: Random, burnt-out skydiver gets involved in strange plot with strange Russian woman.
Biased, pithy comments: This is an action movie. No, it's a comedy. No, it's an action movie. No, it's just ``Hot Shots'' with Kinski instead of Kim Swanson. It has some weak acting and hackneyed bad guys (the fact that they speak Russian is the only cool thing about them), but I just love Sheen, and he delivers his lines without his recent torpor and puts some zip into a really wacky movie. Some of the cinematography and directing could have come out of a Tuesday Night Movie, but there is one stunt with some mind-boggling action and aerial photography including a car, a cargo plane, a biplane and some other airborne amazement that leaves you wondering if maybe you should try skydiving just this once.
Other Notes: I'm totally incapable of judging passable movies with Charlie Sheen in them, so take this review with a large chunk of Sodium Chloride. It's probably worse than I say it is *except for that one stunt.*
How many times I have seen it: x1
Starring: Charlie Sheen, Natasja Kinski
