Plot summary: Washington cop is hired to go back in time after bad senator-cum-presidential candidate.
Biased, pithy comments: Another time-machine movie, another skip-over-the-paradoxes kind of romp. For a gimmick movie, there isn't nearly enough travelling around in time (though the scenes not in 1994 and 2004 are excellently filmed) and far too much slow fighting and crawling around on the roof of a charming Victorian house. deSilva is excellent and the special effects are convincing (even when I know how they are done), but Van Damme and the time machine are totally underused.
Other Notes: Van Damme seem to be a bit Clouseau-esque as a French-accented cop, but it wasn't his fault. Totally useless brief sex scenes.
